I’d been looking for a way to combine paranormal elements, science fiction, and even a bit of fantasy with my romance for a while. But when I began my publishing journey (the mid-1990s), there was no such genre as paranormal romance. However I persevered, and in December 2002, my first book was published–Ghost Touch by Mary Winter. I haven’t looked back.
I’m Kit, and I’m the author of over 100 erotic romance and erotica stories under several pen names. Let’s be honest, it was a hassle keeping all of those names and websites separate, and in today’s publishing environment there’s no need to do so. Spicy Ebooks was born.
The Pen Names
Mary Winter – The OG who started it all. This pen name wrote M/F, M/F/M, and M/M erotic romance in contemporary and paranormal genres with occasional forays into science fiction and fantasy.
Adera Orfanelli – This pen name wrote fantasy, paranormal, and SF romance with M/F, M/F/M, and M/M pairings.
W.M. Kirkland – The pen name of my heart. Under this name I wrote exclusively M/M stories. While quite a few of WM’s stories feature time traveling gladiators (yum!) or 2 Hearts Rescue (m/m contemporary), now they’re expanding into the Shifters United world. Look for a new spin on 2 Hearts Rescue coming soon.
Kat Orion and C.P. Catzi – These are two pen names under which I wrote erotic short stories. Most of them are paranormal, though CP writes exclusively in a dystopian SF world.
