Here is an excerpt from a new release, Saving HIs Elven Steed, a gay poly paranormal romance. I hope you enjoy.

Meic had assured him everything was okay, but there was some undercurrent in the message that gave Tibis pause, like something had happened and nothing was wrong and the elf didn’t want him to worry. He didn’t like it. Though the centaur had been a bit more honest with him, he suspected there was more to the story than he was being told. And there was the question of why Asur was there because it wasn’t just for Shifters United. He read people, shifters, apparently even magical entities, too well because he knew when he wasn’t being told the whole story and right now no one, not his mate, not Asur, and not Vikam were telling him the truth. That left Fain, and at the moment, Tibis wondered if he’d tell the truth, either.
“Do you want a wake-up call?” he asked Vikam, trying to move both of them back onto neutral ground.

“I can set an alarm on my cell. We’re picking up the horses at nine, right? And it’s what, a fifteen minute drive over there?”
“At nine, and yeah, that’s what I think.” See, Tibis thought to himself, we can have a conversation like two, perfectly paranormal adults. He set the alarm on his phone, then kicked off his boots and stretched out on the bed.

“Do you mind if I shower?” Vikam asked.

An instant image of the centaur, naked, water running over his darker skin filled Tibis’ mind. “Not at all.” Thankful his voice was even, he went to the cooler and grabbed a bottle of water, then putting in his ear buds, he found his list of podcasts and leaned back against the pillows to listen. He tried not to focus on Vikam getting a small bag out of his suitcase or the fact that he appeared to only be taking a pair of pajama pants into the bathroom with him.

Tibis didn’t press play on his podcast until the bathroom door closed, then wiped his hand over his face to try and erase the image of Vikam in a hot, steamy shower from his mind. He had a mate. His mate was at the ranch, not telling him everything that had happened. Tibis sighed, closed his eyes, and tried to lose himself in his podcast.

It worked for a while, then Vikam opened the bathroom door and steam emerged as he came out, wearing a pair of pajama pants, his feet bare. He sat on the bed, bringing the tablet he’d been working on during the drive with him. Whatever the centaur was doing, he apparently was working hard.

Tibis didn’t want to ask, but he was curious. He turned off his podcast and removed his earbuds. The slightest hint of Vikam’s bodywash, a hint of sandalwood, teased his nostrils. He could think of half a dozen things he could be doing, work that needed done, and yet, he found himself curious about Vikam. Maybe if he got to know the centaur better, he’d open up to him.

“We haven’t really talked about the work you’ve done with Second Stride,” Tibis said.

“Questioning my credentials?” Vikam grinned.

“No. Just curious,” Tibis hastily assured him.

Tibis is ready to open his rescue, 2 Hearts Magic, specifically to search for and help horse shifters while rescuing horses from kill pens. When a black stallion captures his interest, he bids on it, not knowing it’s an elven steed trapped in his equine form. When the elf shifts, Tibis realizes he hasn’t just rescued an elf, he’s rescued his mate.

But Tibis and Meic aren’t alone, because Asur, a representative from Shifters United wants to talk about creating a safe house for wayward shifters at the rescue. He has his own agenda, and his own secrets. At the same time, Jay from 2 Hearts Rescue sends Vikam, a centaur, and his companion, an injured jockey named Fain, in his direction when they come to save some thoroughbreds from a kill pen.

Can these five men navigate their mate bonds and their agendas to make a future that might just rescue all of them?

This is the first book in the new series, 2 Hearts Magic, and connects to the world of Shifters United, as well as the 2 Hearts Rescue and Centaurs of New York series.
